Cruise Hawaii

Travelers the world over see Hawaii as the ultimate vacation destination.

Why not tour these islands as part of a cruise

There are many cruise packages that will take you to Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and the big island, each of which has unique characteristics and sights to see.  Rather than spending your entire Hawaiian vacation on one island, a cruise will give you a taste of what each island has to offer the visitor.   Why not see all four islands during your week away from the mainland?  The opportunities to relax, and the chances to find adventure outdoors, that every tourist to Hawaii craves abound throughout the group of islands.

While Kauai is the smallest island, it has its own vibrant local culture.  Because it has a wonderful variety of wildlife and amazing scenery, Kauai has been called the “Garden Island.”  Here you can take part in all that nature has blessed Kauai with, including kayaking, cycling, tubing, ecology tours, dinner cruises, or you can even take it in all at once by taking an airplane tour.  Kauai is often used in movies to show scenes set in indigenous Hawaii.  You can go from Waimea Canyon to the beach and through the vegetation in just one day-long tour.

Oahu is the second-largest island in the Hawaiian archipelago.  Because Honolulu has been the capital for almost two hundred years, Oahu is the central island, and is also home to the famed Waikiki beach resort.  This island is the most developed, and has most of the comfortable amenities that mainlanders are accustomed to, but you can also go skydiving or snorkeling here, just as you can on any of the other islands.  Oahu also has the Pearl Harbor base and museum, which has many interesting exhibits about the events leading up to the American entry into the Second World War, as well as the Polynesian Cultural Center, which has many fascinating exhibits about the people who lived in Hawaii before the colonial period.  You can learn about Hawaii’s past as a powerful kingdom and empire.

Maui abounds with opportunities to go outdoors.  You can hop into a kayak, onto a bicycle or ATV, and tour the island for yourself.  You can parasail all afternoon, and then head to a luau for dinner.  Some of the world’s most scenic beaches and golf courses are here, and a trip to the top of the Haleakala volcano is a sight unlike any other.

Your ship’s final stop will be at the big island, also called Hawaii.  It is larger in land area than the other three islands put together, so there are many things to do here.  Unique to this island is the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.  If volcanoes are not your thing, this island also has some activities you will find on the other islands, such as the ecology tours, day trips around the island, and even surfing.  Wherever you go on these islands, you will certainly not run out of things to do.
